Welcome to Twinkle Twinkle – your child’s home away from home.

Twinkle Twinkle is an independently owned and operated childcare and early learning centre, run by a local Tauranga family. We are a close-knit team that wants to make your child’s early years the best they can be, ensuring they feel safe, supported and encouraged to learn at all times.

We value the importance of building healthy, positive relationships between families and childcare educators. That’s why, from the moment you step through the door, we consider you a part of the Twinkle Twinkle family.
Our welcoming, lively space provides an environment rich in opportunities for your child, to help them explore and develop at their own pace – physically, socially, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. 

When it comes to learning, we don’t just tick a box. Through our comprehensive early childhood curriculum, our educators will foster a love of learning in your child, ensuring what they learn also suits their style and respects their culture.
Like any family, regular communication is important, and we will keep you informed every step of the way with daily updates and written progress reports that you can treasure and share.

We also welcome you to see your child’s development in person and our open-door policy means you can pop in at any time.

Twinkle Twinkle is built on land that has been in my family for over 20 years. It’s so exciting to be providing a unique service in the community where I have spent every summer as a child.

I grew up in Tauranga and moved back from Auckland in 2011 where I worked in the corporate world before establishing the HR department for the Auckland Kindergarten Association. I then managed a complex of 5 childcare centres for BestStart.

In 2011 our family moved back to Tauranga to run our own centre which we successfully owned for 6 years.

Tyler Cole - Head Teacher (B.Ed ECE)

I was born and bred in this beautiful city but have also ventured to different parts of the world. In 2019 my family returned from living in France. We spent three years there and it was a fantastic experience,but Mount Maunganui will always be home to us.

I believe it is important to find fun and unique ways to build upon your child's own individual learning, all while doing so in an environment that is safe and stimulating, allowing them to reach their fullest potential.

I feel very privileged to be a part of your family’s early learning journey at Twinkle Twinkle, and I can’t wait to welcome you in to this amazing new centre.
